Outdoor Equipment Distributors, Inc. (OED) is a family owned and operated business that was founded originally in 1931 as Raleigh Auto Supply Company. The purchase of twenty-five mowers in 1955 changed the history of our company. As other similar lines were acquired, OED converted entirely to the distribution of outdoor power equipment through independent dealers. In 1969 we changed our name to Outdoor Equipment Distributors, Inc. to accurately reflect the nature of our business.

OED has grown steadily over the years and currently has 28 internal employees and 13 outside Territory Managers and Product Training Specialists. Our present facility has approximately 81,000 square feet of office and warehouse space.
